As MyHeritage’s VP of Strategy and Corporate Development, Ido oversees and orchestrates the company’s growth plan, and its measuring and tracking processes. Ido is also responsible for sourcing and unlocking new growth opportunities that will enable MyHeritage to grow its global user base through business acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining MyHeritage, Ido led Strategy and Strategic Initiatives for Similarweb, a global digital data corporation, while also leading its new data incubation business as the Data Products General Manager. Ido brings vast experience from his years as a consultant and project leader at McKinsey and Company, the world’s largest management consulting firm. Ido holds a L.L.B in Law from Tel Aviv University and a MBA from INSEAD.

Throughout his career, Ido has focused on establishing new, sustainable growth businesses, and applying strategic thought processes that fuel top-notch project execution. He believes that ideation processes driven by high-level analysis can tap into significant market opportunities for strong organizations. Additionally, Ido believes that inorganic growth, driven by mergers and acquisitions, is imperative to secure long-term market success for organizations.

Ido is married to Leeor and is the proud father of Liya and Mila. In his spare time, Ido loves playing and watching football, enjoys a nice sail at sea, and is an avid traveler to distant countries around the globe.
